When you attend before the notary you will need to prove your identity and current place of address. This is normally satisfied by bringing your current passport and a recent utility account to the meeting. If you are seeing the notary in your capacity as a representative of a company, you will usually also need to prove that capacity by providing evidence of directorship, for example, and a copy of a board meeting resolution confirming authority for the transaction. Identity documents are required for every person signing documents in front of the notary. This requirement is never relaxed.
